Windom Elementary School

Dear Students and Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2008-09 school year at Windom Elementary.  As principal, I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding year. 

The students and staff will see several new faces in the building this year.  Mrs. Lindsey Moberg - kindergarten and grades 1 and 2, Mr. Charlie Oborny - special education, Mr. Daniel Flores - 5th grade band.  Mrs. Paden will be teaching 2nd grade this year as we have split that class due to numbers.  Mrs. Lisa Linder - assistant cook, Mrs. Mary Ellwood and Mrs. Amber Frownfelter - teachers’ aides.

 

Windom School is under construction during the 2008 summer and fall.  The lunchroom is being expanded and a walk-in refrigerator and freezer will be in place.  The cooking area is also being reorganized.  At the west end of the building, two new classrooms and restrooms are being built.  Pictures will be added periodically to show progress of the construction.
