Greece and Rome

Who Really Did It?

A text book company has made a mistake and have asked for your help. They mixed up parts of two different chapters of their new text book--the one on Greece and the one on Rome. They thought that since you had already studied both cultures that you could help them out.

Task: Your job is to sort out the differences between the two cultures. First you will need to research both cultures and find out the similarities and differences between them. Keep track of this information in a chart or diagram. Then you will use your information to create a power point presentation for the president of the company. Make sure that he or she can understand the points that you are trying to make.

Instructions: In pairs, you will be researching the areas of recreation, family life, education, economics and work, clothing, holidays, government, food, and methods of getting water. Use the links below to gather your information. You may also use books or other sites as well.
